Meet Anthony Roberts

Anthony Roberts, may be best known to the CUIMC community east of Broadway where he spends most of his time as east campus building manager. In addition to his knowledge of and experience with HVAC systems and preventive maintenance, he’s also fairly well-known among the Facilities team for his dancing skills. Anthony is a warm and friendly chap, and always up for a conversation. See what he had to say about the holidays when we spoke with him.

What’s your favorite part about the holidays? 

Engagement with family through shared meals, gifts, and the enjoyment of related shows and movies.

What’s your favorite thing to do in NYC during the holiday season?

Decorating the house, ice skating, attending tree lighting ceremonies, and attending parties. I love to celebrate the holidays with my colleagues and watch them enjoy themselves after all the hard work we all put in throughout the year.

What’s your favorite gift you have ever received?

I got a drum set when I was 10.

Do you have any holiday traditions?

Watching "It's a Wonderful Life" while enjoying a nice seasonal drink and meal. My favorite foods to enjoy during the holiday season include cornish hen, roast duck, and other festive dishes.

What is your favorite part about working in Facilities?

My team and colleagues – such a great work environment! 😊
