More than 37 million home fire extinguishers recalled

Kidde, which makes fire safety products, has recalled more than 37 million home-use fire extinguishers with plastic handles and push-button Pindicator fire extinguishers.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall 18-022(link is external and opens in a new window), "The fire extinguishers can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency. In addition, the nozzle can detach with enough force to pose an impact hazard."
