Replacing fluorescent lighting fixtures throughout the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building beginning, Monday, September 28

Dear colleagues,

To meet New York City's Local Law's 88 and 97 and to reduce approximately 524 tons of carbon emissions annually, we will be replacing fluorescent lighting fixtures throughout the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building beginning, Monday, September 28. There will be minimal disruption to your work. The contractors will need only 15 minutes per fixture to replace the old light with new lights. Here’s a breakdown of the week’s work schedule:  

·       Monday, September 28: 17th floor and 16th floor

·       Tuesday, September 29: 16th floor and 14th floor

·       Wednesday, September 30: 14th floor and 12th floor

·       Thursday, October 1: 11th floor and 10th floor

·       Friday, October 2: 10th floor and 9th floor
