Steam-Related Systems Shutdown in Presbyterian, VP&S and VC Buildings, 8 p.m. Dec. 10 to 4 a.m. Dec. 11

Due to urgent repairs being conducted by NewYork-Presbyterian Facilities, steam and steam-related systems will be temporarily unavailable throughout the following buildings from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, to approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, December 11:

  • Presbyterian Building
  • Vanderbilt Clinic
  • Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building

During this time, hot water, sterilization, autoclaves, steam tables, and dishwashers will be unavailable throughout the affected buildings. Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations with significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
