Steam-Related Systems Shutdown in VP&S and VC Buildings, Feb. 15, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Due to urgent repairs being conducted by New York-Presbyterian Facilities, steam and steam-related systems will be temporarily unavailable throughout the following buildings on Saturday, February 15, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building
• Vanderbilt Clinic

During this time, hot water, sterilization, autoclaves, steam tables, and dishwashers will be unavailable throughout the affected buildings. Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations with significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
