Steam-Related Systems Update: Allan Rosenfield Building, Aug. 21-22

Repairs have paused on steam-related systems and steam service has been temporarily restored throughout the Allan Rosenfield Building.

Urgent repairs will continue TOMORROW, August 22, at 7 a.m. and are expected to continue to approximately 1 p.m. Please note the following:

• During this time, there will be no hot water, sterilization, autoclaves, steam tables, or dishwashers available throughout the building.

• Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional, but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations that have significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
