Upcoming Facilities Activity in ARB, Rescheduled for June 20, 6-11 p.m.

UPDATE: The following facilities-related activities have been rescheduled to take place in the Allan Rosenfield Building on Thursday, June 20, for the durations noted below:

Electrical Shutdown, 6-11 p.m.

• There will be no normal power on floors R1 through 11 on the south side of the Allan Rosenfield Building from 6 p.m. until approximately 11 p.m. on June 20, due to scheduled construction work related to the BioBank project.
• Emergency power will not be affected. Any equipment plugged into red emergency power outlets will still receive power.

In preparation for the upcoming shutdown, please take the following precautionary steps before you leave today, June 18: 

• Save all files and important documents. 
• Completely turn off all computers and laptops. 
• Turn off all other electronic devices and non-essential laboratory equipment. 
• Ensure all essential equipment is connected to emergency power (red) outlets. 

Fire Alarm Testing, 6 p.m.-11 p.m.

• We also will conduct a fire alarm system test throughout the building from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. on June 20. 
• Occupants may notice short, intermittent horns, and/or strobes activated intentionally; please disregard these.
