ColumbiaDoctors NewYork-Presbyterian Imaging (CDNYPI) recently expanded its Interventional Radiology practice to enhance patient care and support in Tarrytown. The renovation allowed the practice to relocate and grow, increasing its capacity to meet the needs of a growing outpatient program.

  • Project Program: A full floor renovation to accommodate two Interventional Radiology (IR) procedure rooms, a 3-bay prep/recovery area, one exam room, a reception area, an administrative support area, and a new IT closet.
  • Project Scope:
    • The scope included a full gut renovation and installation of a new HVAC system and additional infrastructure support, which comply with the 2018 FGI Guidelines for Class-I imaging facilities.
    • This project obtained a New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) Certificate of Need (CON) approval and is designed according to the specifications of Article 28, as well as all other applicable codes governing Article 28 facilities and the applicable sections of the New York State Building Code.
